After being told that I had not updated my blog in MONTHS, I decided to update!
The girls went to the pediatrician for their 4 year old and 2 year old check-ups. They are healthy and growing! Lucy is 3'3" and Lottie is 2'8" and they weigh-in at 40 and 25 pounds respectively. I long for the days when an increase in the numbers on the scale is an exciting thing! Lucy is solid. She is in the 87% in weight and the 40% in height. But hey, muscle weighs more than fat and that girl is strong! Lottie is dainty. She is in the 35% in weight and the 10% in height.
Boy goes for his 4 month check up in the July, but if you ask me, he is GINORMOUS! Here he is sporting his brand new firetruck pajamas, size 9 months. He is the happiest baby and is definitely along for the ride. He gets stickered and glittered and fed from the pretend baby-bottles, and just grins and drools. We have learned that he prefers to sleep in socks. So watch out ladies, this boy gets cold feet!
We have lots of other things going on, enough to fill several more blog posts, so I'll work on those and leave you with this...
a pic of the girls waiting to see Dr. P.
Right now, we are in a waiting phase of life. We sold our house. We don't have a new house. We don't know what the future holds for us, or where we will be in the next few months, but we are thankful that God is in control and he has already prepared a place for us to go.
So tonight we pray this...
"I wait for the LORD, my soul does wait, And in His word do I hope. My soul waits for the Lord. More than watchmen for the morning; Indeed, more than the watchmen for the morning,"
We know waiting on the Lord means enduring the passage of time, so we will enjoy this time of unknowing and be faithful to God's promises for our lives and for our family.
